Being a fishers and winery village in former times the small little houses in Rahmengasse near the marketplace still show the village-like character.<\/p>\n<p>Neuenheim has developed into one of the most attractive locations in Heidelberg due to the proximity to the old town and the university in Neuenheimer Feld.<br \/>\nNumerous art nouveau mansions built from 1860 on show various architectural styles and ornamentations combined in one house which was common at that time.
